Growing up, our family tradition at Christmas included meeting together for breakfast with aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. As a child, that was one of my favorite things about Christmas: meeting up with all my cousins to play with our new toys while our parents laughed and cooked in the kitchen. Even though I’m miles away from them now, I want to carry on this tradition with my own little family. Here’s what I have planned this year.

I tried two different looks for our Christmas table- one that was a little more glam with silver and gold and the other was a fun sea glass blue. My husband’s favorite was the blue table so that’s what I’ll end up going with. I posted both to share ideas!

 THE GLAM TABLE

I kept this table simple, using neutral colors and metals. The ornaments in a bowl gave the centerpiece just the pop it needed!

THE SEA GLASS BLUE TABLE

Again, I used ornaments in the decor of the table, tying in the colors of our Christmas tree. The blue chargers I bought last spring marched perfectly! I’ve said it once but I’ll say it again, you really can’t go wrong with white plates and bowls. The white may seem boring when you’re at the store, trying to decide on dinnerware, but they are SO versatile. I feel like I have room to change around my decor however I want because they go with everything.

Have fun creating your own Christmas table this year! Whether it be for Christmas Eve, breakfast, or Christmas dinner, I’d love to see your ideas! Happy decorating!
