Easter blog 002

This Easter tablescape was inspired by the fresh, lively feeling that spring always brings with it. I was tempted to go with my ever faithful tulip centerpiece again this year but decided to change it up a bit. I didn’t use one big centerpiece but collected a few things around the house and grounded them with moss. I loved the rich green color of the moss and wanted to pair that with daintier blue and crisp white found in my seersucker placemats. I think the colors played off each other well!

My mother-in-law shared with me how she would go to her grandmother’s home for elaborate breakfasts on special occasions- complete with little egg holders to hold their eggs. I loved hearing how my husband’s family celebrated and I wanted to incorporate these little egg holders in my tablescape. My one-stop shop was World Market, who had a wonderful variety of Easter decor this year!

Instead of using my go-to white vases and pitcher, I decided to add another dimension with bright, shiny silver.
