St. Patrick's Day 072

When it comes to entertaining, my grandmother knows how to put on a party! And even though each season is decorated in its own way, it seems like every holiday party isn’t complete without a few tried and true essentials. One being her infamous punch. It’s so fizzy and refreshing! We see it at weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, and anywhere from Christmas to the 4th of July

I thought this would be the perfect St. Patty’s Day treat, being that it’s green and all, but I hope this family staple will grace more parties for you than just this one day in March.

The best thing about this recipe is that there are only 3 ingredients! THREE.

  • Ginger Ale- 2 Liters
  • Lime Sherbet- 2 quarts
  • Pineapple Juice- 2 quarts

Just mix equal parts ginger ale, pineapple juice and lime sherbet. We usually put the frozen sherbet in the punch bowl first, then pour the liquids on top. Recipe may be doubled, tripled or quadrupled- depending on how big your bunch is.

I said that the best thing about this recipe was that there were only 3 ingredients, but I was wrong. The BEST thing about this recipe is that my husband absolutely loves this punch. My memaw made a batch for him when we first got married and he went on and on about how much he loved it.

Welcome to the family, babe!
